What to expect.
Most patients need a series of 2–3 treatment sessions spaced about 4–6 weeks apart. After each session, you'll massage the treated area at home for several days, following the "5-5-5" rule (5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days) to help the product spread evenly.
Some swelling right after treatment is normal and subsides within a few days. True results build over about three months, and they can last two years or longer.
